WILLIAMSON COUNTY — The Herrin Police Department and Williamson County Sheriff’s Department need the public’s help locating a wanted man who could be in the Mt. Vernon area.

Juan Antonio Ortiz, 36, is wanted for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.

Ortiz is considered dangerous. Police ask you to not approach him, but call police if he is spotted.

He’s described as 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and is known to live in Mt. Vernon and Herrin.
