Altercation during home invasion sends Woodlawn man to hospital

WOODLAWN — A 41-year-old Woodlawn man was hospitalized Saturday with injuries apparently suffered during a home invasion.

According to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Blaine Uhls, the sheriff’s department received a call just before 10 p.m. Saturday from the 200 block of North Main in Woodlawn on a report of a home invasion.

The complainant spoke with deputies before being taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Uhls says the incident was not random but remains under investigation. No other information was available at this time.
