JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 36-year-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced Tuesday in Jefferson County Court to 15-years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a minor family member.

Antonio Foulks pleaded guilty to Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault of a family member under the age of 18.

Foulks will have to serve the 15-year sentence consecutively to a 20-year sentence handed down in July 2021 after he pleaded guilty in that case to Class X felony charge of delivery of between 15-100 grams of meth. A Class X charge of aggravated delivery of meth was dismissed per that plea agreement.

Foulks will have to complete the 20-year sentence before he begins serving the 15-year sentence handed down Tuesday.
