A flood watch remains in effect for our entire listening area and heavy rain has already resulted in localized flooding being reported.

Town Creek in Salem is reportedly out of its banks this morning and drivers are reminded to not try and cross flooded roadways.

First responders have already been out this morning helping motorists stranded in flood waters.

Flood warnings have been issued in areas such as Clay and Fayette Counties as the Little Wabash and Kaskaskia rivers are reaching flood stages.
