CENTRALIA — The City of Centralia delivered notices Thursday to multiple local businesses notifying them they could lose their liquor licenses due to alleged violations of the city’s liquor code.

According to the City, Jay Meladi, Inc., doing business as Lincoln Liquor Mart has been notified, as well as Convenience Stores LLC, doing business as Circle K, Martin and Bayley, Inc., doing business as Huck’s Food and Fuel, and Food Mart Café, were notified their businesses each sold alcohol to a person under the age of 21 on April 26of this year.

The City says the violations constitute grounds for suspension or revocation of their liquor licenses, or the levying of fines against their businesses.

The City Liquor Control Commission has scheduled hearings for the four businesses on those matters for May 26.
