CENTRALIA — The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called to investigate the cause of an early morning fire Saturday that destroyed an unoccupied home on Jolliff Bridge Road just northwest of Centralia.

The modular home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters with the Centralia Fire Protection District arrived around 3:30 Saturday morning. Firefighters had responded to the same home a few weeks ago on a report of a suspicious small fire.

Firefighters remained on the scene for about four hours Saturday. There were no reports of injuries, but the home was a total loss.
