According to accident reports, around 8:50 p.m. Thursday, 40-year-old Robert Hullet, of Centralia, was northbound on Elm Street when he ran a red light and struck a vehicle being driven eastbound on Nolman by 26-year-old Kayla Sirmans, also of Centralia.

The impact caused the Hullet vehicle to overturn and land on its top.

Hullet and his 35-year-old passenger, Tina Bates, of Centralia, were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries, as was Sirmans and her three children, 8-year-old McKinsley, 4-year-old Kaleb, and 5-month-old Kennadi.

Hullet was cited for disobeying a traffic control device. The intersection of Elm and Noleman were closed until the wreckage was cleared.
