CENTRALIA — A 37-year-old Centralia man was arrested Friday night after he was reportedly found passed out behind the wheel of a car at Fifth and Locust streets in Centralia.
According to police, James Louvier was arrested after police were finally able to wake him up. They reportedly found a cigarette pack containing heroin and half a Xanax pill in one of Louvier’s pockets. Officers also reportedly discovered .9 grams of a substance that tested positive as heroin inside baggies as well as several foils often used to package heroin for sale.
Louvier was transported to the Marion County jail for alleged manufacture with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited for driving without a valid license and improper parking on the roadway.
