WAYNE COUNTY — A 28-year-old motorcyclist from North Carolina has been arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at a motorist on Interstate-64 in rural Wayne County Sunday.

David Franklin Ault of Fayetteville, North Carolina was arrested after a 911 call came in about the alleged incident.

State Police clocked Ault speeding 106 mph moments before he was stopped.

Police recovered a loaded .45 caliber Glock handgun from Ault.
