CLINTON COUNTY — Bail has been set at $50,000 for a 26-year-old Trenton man held in the Clinton County Jail after being arrested Sunday for alleged sexual abuse.

Thomas Fleming Jr., was formally charged Monday in Clinton County Court with three counts Class 2 felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 18.

Fleming was advised of the charges against him and possible penalties if convicted. Bail was set at $50,000, with special conditions of release to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Fleming is scheduled for am August 31 preliminary hearing with a court appointed attorney. Two orders of protection against Fleming were requested and issued Monday morning.
