MADISON COUNTY  —  A man who was shot over the weekend is now facing charges. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says Brenton Webster was shot on Friday after entering a home in Godfrey.

Officers say Webster asked the homeowner if he could use the bathroom.  Once inside, Webster allegedly attacked the homeowner.  Officers say the homeowner was armed and shot Webster.
