A 22-year-old Belle Rive man is in the Wayne County Jail after sheriff’s deputies allegedly found him in possession of $30,000 worth of synthetic drugs.
Lakota L. Gammon was arrested Thursday at a Wayne City home, following a lengthy drug investigation by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies.
During Gammon’s arrest, deputies reportedly seized approximately one-pound of suspected a-PVP, also known as bath salts, from a GMC pickup truck that was also seized due to its suspected involvement in drug trafficking. The street value of the recovered drugs is estimated $30,000.
At the time of his Thursday arrest, Gammon was already facing felony charges in two separate 2016 Wayne County cases for possession of a controlled substance and a 2016 felony case in Jefferson County for felony possession of a controlled substance and felony obstruction of justice.
