MARION COUNTY — Three Junction City family members charged last month in Marion County Court with numerous child sex crimes have had additional charges filed against them this week, with a combined total at this point of 40 felony charges.
Court documents list the same Junction City address for 20-year-old Dallas Sierra Holt, her mother 47-year-old Patricia Speagle, and her step-father 46-year-old Gary Speagle.
All three were arrested in October.
Gary Speagle was initially charged with Class X felonies for predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13, and child pornography of a victim under the age of 13t, as well as two counts Class 2 felony possession of child pornography of a child under the age of 13.
He is now facing a total of 18 counts, with an additional 14 felony counts filed this week. 10 of those are Class X felony charges of child pornography of a victim under the age of 13, and four counts Class X predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13.
Patricia Speagle was first charged with Class X felony child pornography of a victim under the age of 13, and Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 18.
She is now charged with a total of 12 counts, with seven counts Class X predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13, and three counts Class 1 criminal sexual assault of a family member under the age of 18 added this week.
Holt was first charged with Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 18, and Class 2 aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 18.
She now faces a total of 10 counts, after an additional seven counts Class 1 criminal sexual assault of a family member under the age of 18, and one count Class X predatory criminal sexual assault were added to her charges this week.
An investigation into the family began after pornographic pictures were allegedly found on Gary Speagle’s computer by a man who had agreed to try and repair it.
The man contacted Sandoval police to look at the pictures and an investigation was then launched by the Sandoval Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
There are details that were included in the probable cause statement and the charging information that we have chosen to not release to hopefully prevent the inadvertent identification of the alleged victims.
All three defendants remain in the Marion County Jail, with bail for Gary Speagle set at $250,000, for Patricia Speagle at $200,000, and for Holt at $100,000.
A mental fitness examination has been ordered for Patricia Speagle. She’s next due in court November 30, Holt and Gary Speagle are due in court December 1.
