BENTON, Ill. — Three Benton residents were arrested on drug charges Monday night.

According to Benton Police, officers responded around 10:30 to a home in the 1100 block of Bailey Lane in reference to a narcotics investigation.

Through the investigation and subsequent search of the property, officers located two active methamphetamine labs there.

Officers seized 1,100 grams of substances containing methamphetamine to include meth manufacturing equipment.

Police arrested 35-year-old Michael A. Sanders, 32-year-old Kaysie D. Sanders, and 35-year-old Paulie J. Potts, all of Benton.

All three face charges of unlawful participation in meth manufacturing, unlawful possession of meth and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say additional arrests may come.
