CENTRALIA — Start planning your float entries, now, as the 91st Annual Centralia Halloween Parade theme, “Animals Bring Happiness,” has been selected.
Natalie Ann Poninski came up with the winning theme. She is a Willow Grove Grade School student in Mrs. Cindy Kessler’s class and is the daughter of Billie Martin.
Because Natalie came up with the winning parade theme, her class was treated to a pizza party Friday by the parade committee.
Natalie will also get to paint this year’s pumpkin design for the pumpkins that will decorate downtown Centralia in October, will ride in one of the lead cars in the parade, and will be recognized at the pre-parade party reception for her theme idea.
