JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Illinois Department of Transportation is alerting motorists that beginning Monday one lane of Interstate 57 will be closed at Exit 103 for maintenance.
Maintenance crews will be repairing the structures carrying I-57 over the Dix-Irvington Road and the structures over the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Crews will be working in either the northbound or southbound lanes.
From Monday July 31st to Wednesday August 2nd the entrance ramp from the Dix-Irvington Road to Northbound I-57 will be closed.
Through traffic is encouraged to seek alternate routes while this work is underway.
