SALEM — The Salem Planning Commission has given approval with stipulations to an unmanned solar energy electrical generation facility’ just south of Salem.

The project, proposed by Salem Solar Energy LLC., is being developed by Glidepath Advanced Energy Solutions, and will include hundreds of solar panels.

The facility is projected to be built on 80 acres, and will accommodate 10 megawatts that should power roughly 22,000 homes.
