BCMW will begin making appointments for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program or LIHEAP on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Only households with residents 60 years or older, or households with residents currently receiving disability are eligible to make appointments at this time.

Then starting November 1, 2017, households that are currently disconnected or are at or below 25 percent in their propane tank may start making appointments. Households with children age 5 or younger are also eligible at that time.

On December 1, 2017, all other low income eligible households may begin making appointments to apply.

Eligibility is determined by providing proof of 30 days of household income and a utility bill in an adult household member’s name, as well as limits on income.

Even if utilities are included in rent, you might qualify. For further information, call 532-7388 in Marion County, 526-7123 in Clinton County, and 327-8476 in Washington County.
