CENTRAL CITY — A 65-year-old Odin man suffered fatal injuries Tuesday when he was involved in a motorcycle/vehicle crash in Central City.

Details of the crash are not being released at this time and Central City police are referring all inquiries about the crash to the Marion County State’s Attorney’s Office. They say they cannot comment until Central City provides them with a report.

The crash reportedly happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday in front of the Broadway Tavern in Central City. The motorcyclist was reported as unconscious at the scene. He was being airlifted to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis when according to the Clinton County Coroner’s Office he coded in flight.

The medical helicopter then landed at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, where the coroner pronounced him dead.
