WILLIAMSON COUNTY — A 38-year-old Marion man was arrested Wednesday and charged with unlawful restraint, battery and disorderly conduct in connection with incidents that allegedly took place the day before at three different Marion businesses.

Marion Police say on Aug. 28, John A. Rutherford followed a woman in Kroger, blocked her from moving several times, and reached down and touched her toes. Also, on that same day, Rutherford allegedly followed other women in Sam’s Club and Target looking at their feet and scaring them.

Rutherford was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
