MOUNT VERNON — A 54-year-old Mt. Vernon man was arrested Wednesday on a drug-related search warrant for a home in the 1100 block of South 23rd Street in Mt. Vernon.

Allen R. Dennis was arrested for alleged Intent to Deliver between 15 and 100 grams of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Equipment after members of the Mt. Vernon Police Department/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office High Risk Team served the search warrant that was the result of an investigation conducted Joint Narcotics Unit.
A search of the residence by narcotics detectives reportedly revealed a significant amount of Ice Methamphetamine and Drug Equipment.
Also arrested was 53-year-old Lori J Edmond for alleged Possession of Drug Equipment.
Edmond’s bail was set at $1,500. Dennis’ bail remains to be set in Jefferson County court.
