SANDOVAL — Sandoval police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred Thanksgiving afternoon.

According to the police department, Centralia police received a call around 2:13 p.m. Thursday from SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia reporting two men had been brought in with stab wounds.

It was then discovered the men were stabbed at a residence on East Commercial Avenue in Sandoval. The Marion County Sheriff’s Department was brought in to assist with their K-9 Unit.

A 26-year-old male suspect has been taken into custody but Sandoval police say no other details will be released at this time as they are continuing to investigate.
