CENTRALIA — A 33-year-old Centralia woman was injured Sunday morning when she was reportedly struck by a vehicle while she was walking down the middle of Noleman Street just west of the railroad overpass.

According to Centralia police, they had received a report just after midnight of a woman walking in the middle of Noleman Street, but before they arrived at the location, they received another report saying the woman being struck by a dark-colored vehicle that left the scene.

A passerby reportedly helped the woman get to the side of the road before police and EMS  arrived.

The woman then reportedly refused treatment and refused to answer questions about why she was on the road or the vehicle that struck her.

Police continue to investigate.
