MARION COUNTY — A 25-year-old Centralia man was sentenced Wednesday in Marion County court to 5-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, after he pleaded guilty to possessing meth precursors.
Terry Hamburg had originally been charged in January with Class 2 felony possessing less than 15 grams of meth precursors.
During a pre-trial hearing Wednesday, Hamburg pleaded guilty to the charge against him and was subsequently sentenced to a term that will run concurrent to a 3-year sentence out of Clinton County.
In that case, Hamburg was charged in April 2014, with being a felon in possession of a weapon. He pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to 3-years in prison in that case.
