MOUNT VERNON — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 47-year-old Wood River man for alleged Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm at an occupant or vehicle from an incident that took place on February 28th.

Patrick Gibbs was arrested after deputies responded to a report stating that someone with a gun shot at her fiancé in the 19000 block of East Marlow Road in Opdyke.

Gibbs was taken into custody just after 7 a.m. Saturday morning and was transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where he awaits the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
