JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary over the weekend to a building that once housed Webber Township High School.

According to reports, deputies were called to the scene at 4:14 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a broken window.

There were later reports of two suspects on top of the building returning inside the premises through the broken window.

Eyewitness reports collected by sheriff’s deputies indicate those suspects fled the scene to the north.
