CENTRALIA — A recently renovated Centralia hotel expects to close its doors Friday, having sold to another locally operated business.
According to Manu Patel, owner of the Bell Tower Best Value Inn, he expects to close the doors of the hotel on Friday, with Airgo flight school taking possession of the property on Sunday.
Media contacts at the school were unavailable for comment Friday, so its unclear when students will begin moving in to the facility.
Airgo operates as an International Flight School in Centralia that includes student housing, which will now include the hotel at the corner of East Noleman and Poplar Street.
In addition to managing the Centralia Municipal Airport, Airgo provides transportation for their students from current housing facilities in downtown Centralia.
The Bell Tower Inn revealed renovations during a Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting last summer. The improvements included updates to the indoor swimming pool and elevator system, along with new carpeting throughout the building.
