MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $150,000 for a 26-year-old Salem man after he was formally charged Monday morning in Marion County Court with Class X felony manufacture with the intent to distribute between 15-100 grams of cocaine.

Jerrad Middleton was arrested over the weekend by Centralia police after a police K-9 alerted on the vehicle Middleton was driving during a traffic stop and a subsequent search of the vehicle reportedly revealed drugs.

Centralia officers report finding two large baggies containing 57.9 grams of a substance that field tested positive for cocaine hidden in a sunglasses case.

Middleton is currently serving 5-years probation on a 2015 conviction for manufacturing between 100 and 400 grams of methamphetamine.
