CLINTON COUNTY — A 27-year-old Trenton man was sentenced Wednesday in Clinton County Court to 7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, after he pleaded guilty to three meth-related felonies.

Ryan Haller was charged with three Class X felonies, one for aggravated manufacture of methamphetamine with a child under the age of 15 present, one for manufacturing between 400 and 900 grams of meth, and one for possession of between 400 and 900 grams of meth.
He was also charged with charged with Class 1 felony manufacture of less than 15 grams of meth, and two Class 2 felonies for possession of meth manufacturing material and meth-related child endangerment.
Haller pleaded guilty Wednesday to both Class 2 charges and the Class X possession of meth charge, in exchange for all other charges being dismissed.
He was sentenced to 7-years in prison on each charge to be served concurrently, and was ordered to serve 3-years parole upon his release, as well as pay $7,067 in fines and fees, with his $5,000 cash bond to be applied.
Haller was arrested in July 2015, with 29-year-old Jarrod Goetter, also of Trenton, Trenton police and Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a suspected methamphetamine cook in Trenton. While speaking with the occupants of the residence, deputies reported a strong chemical odor coming from inside.
A search warrant was executed and the Illinois State Police located an alleged meth lab in the basement of the home.
The same six charges originally files against Haller were also filed against Goetter, who is next scheduled in court May 18 for a status hearing. He is free on $10,000 cash bond.
