CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago police say a man was taken to a hospital in critical condition after he fled authorities and jumped from an upper-level terminal at O’Hare International Airport.
Police say the incident happened about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. WMAQ-TV reports that Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the man was fleeing officers who tried to place him in custody for a disturbance at a terminal counter.
Chicago police spokesman Officer Hector Alfaro says the 22-year-old man jumped to a lower-level terminal from an upper-level terminal.
Alfaro says the man was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
