FRANKLIN COUNTY — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office needs your help in identifying two men who are believed to have scammed an elderly lady in the Whittington area Thursday.

Officials say the two men solicited a $300 check to blacktop and reseal her driveway. The two men cashed the check, but never performed any work.

One of the men is tall and white in his 60s with gray hair. The only description of the second man is that he is white and in his 50s.

The only description of the truck is that it is a full-sized, white pickup truck. Anyone with information regarding the two men should call the sheriff’s office at 438-8211.
