FAYETTE COUNTY — A 62-year-old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania man is in the Fayette County Jail, after sheriff’s deputies arrested him on heroin charges after stopping him for alleged speeding.

Lawrence Librick was reportedly found to be in possession of more than 15 grams of heroin – a Class 1 felony, and possession of a hypodermic syringe – a Class A misdemeanor.

He has also been cited for speeding more than 35 miles per hour over the speed limit.

Librick remains in custody awaiting the setting of bail. It’s unclear at this time if he will retain private counsel or be appointed a public defender.
