FAYETTE COUNTY — A 32-year-old Zeigler woman is facing two felony charges after allegedly trying to bring drugs into the Fayette County Jail.

Tiffany F. Stone is charged with Class 1 felony bringing contraband into a penal institution for allegedly bringing methamphetamine into the Fayette County Jail on Saturday, and with Class 2 felony possession of less than 15 grams of meth.

Stone appeared in Fayette County Court on Monday and bail was set at $15,000.

She informed the court she would hire a private attorney, and is next scheduled to appear in court on Friday for a status hearing.
