According to court records, early in the case the defense attorney Steve Quinn sought to have the Amy Center in Mt. Vernon release information regarding a case surrounding Dallas Holt when she was a child and allegedly a victim of sexual abuse. Her alleged abuser was reportedly never brought to justice.
The information released from the Amy Center led to Thursday’s motion, seeking to have an expert witness examine Holt in regard to the effects of the sexual abuse she allegedly suffered as a child.
Holt is charged with 10 felony offenses of child sex abuse. She was arrested in October with her 47-year-old mother Patricia Speagle and 46-year-old step-father Gary Speagle.
Her mother is facing 12 felony charges alleging sexual abuse of children and her step-father is facing 18 counts sexual abuse of children.
