Castle Ridge is excited to host our 4th Annual Castle Ridge Shamrock Shuffle 5K fundraiser. The event will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 am at the beautiful Castle Ridge in Centralia, IL. The Castle Ridge Cares Initiative, a branch of the business that focuses on sponsoring and promoting public awareness, participation, and giving for the betterment of the community and those who live there.
The Castle Ridge Cares initiative is partnering once again with the Harris Family Christian Foundation to raise money to support a family with special needs in the Southern Illinois area. The first three years of the Shamrock Shuffle raised over $17,000 to support the need of three families. This year’s recipients are Matt, Allen and Gracie Legendre.
On December 15th, 2025, Matt and his children lost Randi – a devoted mother and loving partner, who was a courageous and fierce fighter. After Randi was diagnosed with cancer in September 2025, she bravely endured surgery and treatment. Despite her strength and determination, the cancer returned. Randi fought until the very end, leaving behind Matt, 4-year-old Allen and 2-year-old Gracie. This year’s Shamrock Shuffle 5K supports this family as they navigate life after an unimaginable loss.
In celebration of Randi, we are looking forward to a day filled with food, fun and much, much more. Donations to support the Legendre family can be given at Stonewater Restaurant through the end of March.

You can pick up your packet on Saturday, March 14th from 10:00am-10:55am at Stonewater Restaurant. You can also late register between 10:00am-10:55am with cash or check.
There will be awards presented for the top males and females in the following age groups and overall top male and female: 12 & under, 13-19 yrs, 20-29 yrs, 30-39 yrs, 40-49 yrs, 50-59 yrs, 60-69 yrs and 70+.
Castle Ridge is a unique 60-acre lakefront venue with a castle-themed wedding, conference and event center. The beautiful property also has 2 on-site restaurants, which feature indoor and outdoor rooftop dining.
