JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 29-year-old Mt. Vernon man has been sentenced to 8-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections
on a felony meth conviction.
Jonathan Graham was arrested in April as part of a drug sweep across Mt. Vernon and Jefferson County. He was initially charged with Class X felony manufacture of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine, as well as with Class 1 felony possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth.
As part of a plea agreement, the Class 1 charge was dismissed and Graham was sentenced to 8-years in prison on the Class X charge.
Graham was already incarcerated in Jefferson County on a burglary charge at the time of his arrest on the meth charges.
