COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Authorities have found an Indiana drag racer’s stolen truck in St. Louis but not his missing 1975 Chevrolet Camaro or trailer.

The Belleville News Democrat reports that Jason Tabscott’s blue GMC truck was found abandoned last month, but painted silver with tinted windows and bullet holes. Tabscott is from Camby, Indiana. His truck, race car and trailer were stolen in September from outside a Collinsville restaurant. He had just finished a drag racing event.

Tabscott said at the time that he was “torn apart” by the thefts because he’d been working on the Camaro for 15 years.

Collinsville police say Illinois State Police crime scene technicians processed the truck but not much was found.

Police still don’t know who stole the vehicles or where the dragster and trailer are.
