BENTON — A former employee of the Franklin County Circuit Clerk’s office accused of stealing money from that office pled guilty to all charges against her in Franklin County Court Monday.
Franklin County State’s Attorney Evan Owens says 49-year-old Kindra L. Eickelman admitted guilt on two counts. Count One charged Eickelman with committing theft of government property in excess of $10,000 but less than $100,000 between September 2012 and June 12, 2014 – a Class 1 felony.
County Two charged her with official misconduct in that while acting in her official capacity as an employee of the Circuit Clerk’s office, she committed an act she knew was forbidden by law to perform by committing theft in excess of $10,000 – a Class 3 felony.
Eickelman will be sentenced May 9 at 10 a.m. at the Franklin County Courthouse in Benton.
