Shaun Brown has been formally charged with Class 2 felony burglary in connection with vehicle burglary that was reported in February. Bail was set at $40,000 or $4,000 cash bond. He’s next scheduled for an April 13 preliminary hearing.
Centralia police had been searching for Brown since February. He appeared in Marion County Court Wednesday on an unrelated case in which he’s charged with Class 2 felony possession of less than 15 grams of meth precursors and Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance. He had been free in that case on $1,000 bond when he was arrested in the burglary case.
Brown is scheduled for a June 1 jury trial in the meth case, and a June 6 jury trial in Clinton County on two counts Class 4 felony criminal sexual abuse of a person unable to consent.
