WAYNE COUNTY — Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested two females in connection with mailbox thefts and home burglaries reported throughout the county earlier Tuesday.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop Tuesday and took 20-year-old Sadie L. Preston, of Mill Shoals, and 20-year-old Vanessa M. Halfacre, of Fairfied, on multiple counts felony theft and burglary.
