Billy G. Farr, 91, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 8:33 am April 25, 2023 at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mount Vernon.

He was born March 9, 1932 in Festus, Missouri to the late Norman and Selma (DeClue) Farr. Billy married Della Darlene (Bravard) Farr on June 2, 1956 in Festus, Missouri. They were blessed with nearly 51 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on March 4, 2007.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Sally Warden of Wayne City, Illinois and Linda Berberich and husband, Dan of Festus, Missouri; son, Michael Farr and fiancée, Marlena Wright of Bismark, Missouri; grandchildren, Joshua Warden and wife, Amanda of Wayne City, Geoffry Farr and Jennifer Henry of Cisne, Illinois, Rebecca Phillips and husband, Jeremy of Wayne City, Hannah Ellis and husband, Joe of Festus, Missouri, and Sarah Simmons and Steven Forrest of McLeansboro, Illinois; granddaughter-in-law, Angie Masters of Sullivan, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Maggie Farr, Gavin Weber, Kendall Ellis, Dominique Ellis, Phoebe Farr Warden, Noah Phillips, Levi Phillips, Eleanor Phillips, and Wyatt Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Billy was preceded in death by his grandchild, Adrian Masters; and brothers, Richard Farr and wife, Charl and Raymond Farr.

Billy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years for Lee Rowan Manufacturing. Billy attended Mount Vernon Church of God and Calvary Assembly of God. Most of all, he cherished the time shared with his family. Billy will be deeply missed.
