Sam Worthington arrives for the ÔAvatar The Way of WaterÕ Hollywood Premiere on December 12^ 2022 in Hollywood^ CA

Netflix has released the first teaser for its upcoming mystery series I Will Find You, a suspenseful adaptation of Harlan Coben’s 2023 novel of the same name.

The show centers on David Burroughs (Sam Worthington), a father wrongly convicted and imprisoned for the murder of his young son. His story takes a dramatic turn when he learns his child may still be alive. From there, he “embarks on a truth-finding mission that leads him out of prison and into a world of deceit and despair,” pushing him toward a dangerous escape and a relentless search for answers.

In the preview, Burroughs receives a visit from ex-sister-in-law and reporter Rachel Mills (Britt Lower), who believes she has proof the boy survived. When shown a photo, he admits, “he looks like Matthew.” She responds, “I know how insane that sounds,” while he counters that it’s “just as insane as people thinking I killed my little boy in the first place.” He soon suspects there may be “someone very dangerous behind this,” as the footage teases escapes, chases, and a glimpse of the child believed to be “out there.” Determined, he vows, “I’m gonna find him and bring him home.”

The series also features Milo Ventimiglia along with a large ensemble including Logan Browning, Erin Richards, Jonathan Tucker, Chi McBride, Madeleine Stowe, and Clancy Brown. Showrunner Robert Hull co-created the series with Coben, adapted the story from the original novel. It follows other Coben adaptations on Netflix, including Missing You, Fool Me Once, Stay Close, The Stranger, and Safe (another adaptation in development is The Woods, starring Tom Bateman and Michelle Keegan.)

I Will Find You spans eight episodes and is set to premiere on June 18. See the trailer: HERE
