According to police reports, Shaundre Picket was arrested for alleged armed robbery, home invasion, possession of ammunition without a valid FOID card and on an outstanding Cook County warrant.

Pickett is suspected of the Thursday morning armed robbery at woman’s home on McKee Street in Centralia.

He reportedly told police the woman invited him to her home last night and while there he tried to prove he was not involved in Thursday’s incident.

But other people who were allegedly in the home at the time of Thursday’s incident reportedly identified Pickett as one of the three black men who had entered the home Thursday with handguns drawn before taking cash and jewelry then fleeing.

Witnesses described Picket as the only one of the suspects not wearing a mask.

Thursday’s incident remains under investigation and Centralia police continue to search for the other two suspects.
